One time while listening to "94.7 The Wave" KTWV in Los Angeles, I heard Dreamlover – and then afternoon host J.J. Jackson said, "That's Mariah Carey, bringing back the old Bobby Darin hit." I emailed him and asked, "Do you ever listen to what you play? The Mariah Carey song is not Bobby Darin's Dream Lover They two songs are completely different! The titles aren't even spelled the same!" Jackson never responded. (The uncredited background singers here are the Frantics.)

Right Here Right Now was number one for five weeks on Billboard's alternative rock chart in February-March 1991. Jesus Jones topped that chart again with The Devil You Know, written by lead singer Mike Edwards. It was number one for six weeks in January-February 1993 but never made the Hot 100.
