Adventures In Koopland

This is an interesting thread for the past couple of weeks. I haven't read everything, but what I understand. Koop has bought her a purse and other stuff. Was a receptionist for a week and now a tire? To be honest does she pay you back or do anything in return? I read you fall for pretty girls, hopefully she isn't taking advantage of you.

I understand your relationship is moving pretty fast. What's next exchanging keys to each other places or moving in within couple of months?

If I'm being honest there is significantly more than those things I've shared. But to be fair I have clearly told her I don't want to be paid back. (hehe at least not with money...middle school sex joke right there.)

Actually we have had conversations about that. Hah.

This whole thing can be solved by you Wolf. You know you are my true love that I will always put first. Just say the word and I'm on a plane to AZ and all of a sudden a huge soccer fan.

I bet you already mentioned somewhere or we will find out soon. If I was in love with somebody, I wouldn't put out so much.

Alright lock her up in your dungeon and meet me in Toledo, OH on Hectic's front yard.

Anybody want make any bets that Koop will propose to her within the next few months?

Be sure to shovel the snow while you're out there. :cold: It'll keep ya warm.

There's a gas station about a 1/2 mile away.

Hah, I just saw that. Nah, I'm bonkers (as you will see in the rest of this post) but not THAT bonkers.

Update time!

So we spend like 3-4 days per week together these days outside of working together. We both work 2nd shift but have different days off so it's both convenient and not.

I've been helping out with her side hustle mostly sending 100's of texts and setting up interviews. If I'm at her place I do it using her computer. Its a Dell Inspiron that is like 3 years old. The thing is slow. So I decided the girl needs a new computer. Got it for her on Monday. It's a base level, like $415 Lenovo similar to the one I'm typing this on right now. By far my most extravagant gift yet. I figure I'll just skip out on buying another $400 metal G-Shock Square...I'm cool with that. I'm also pretty sure (unless she is a master manipulator that I wouldn't put past any woman) that this was my spur of the moment decision and not because she was dropping hints or whatever. Either way, buying her shit makes me happy.

Next up...talk of moving in together.

Quick aside: it's odd to me how I was with the last girl for years (on and off) and seriously moving in together was never a priority and I'm with this one for like 7 weeks and the talk is already happening.

There has been talk that early 2020 may be a good time pull the trigger. Seeing how everything else has been moving so fast, that seems reasonable to me. She lives way further away from work than I but not much further than what I was already doing for the last year when I was living with my dad while still paying rent at my place. And her place is in the most convenient location. Tons of stuff is only blocks away and pretty much everything is within 2 miles which means that beside going to work I will be driving way less. Plus it would be better for Athena cat to have a real place to live in and not just a room. It's a one bedroom apartment. Thing is, rent for me will be going up, but the way I see it any place I move to where I won't have 2 roommates will wind up being more expensive. IDK, the whole idea is attractive to me. We'll see what the next 6 weeks or so brings.

Remember if it doesn't work out you will be homeless and broke. Also most common law terms would start 1 year after moving in with each other (varies by state) so she may be entitled to 1/2 of whatever you have after that period has passed even if you never say I do.

Good warning but there is no common law in FL...at least that's what I've been told.

Homeless yes, broke no. Look I'm buying her this stuff but it's not like I'm blowing through my savings or anything like that. This is money that I would usually waste on building my very childish videogame collection or buying watches. If the shit really hit the fan I could always grab a new place in like a week or 2.

I think the fact your dad's gone, has changed the situation of this relationship vs the last. How's the boss/subordinate thing going?

That makes a lot of sense.

The work thing is fine. Neither of us have told anyone there. I think one guy may have a suspicion but he's the guy I trust the most. I consider him a friend, like we have hung out after work a few times, but he is still my subordinate so I'm certainly not going to tell him. There are other people who absolutely can't know. If this one girl found out the whole place would know within 1 shift.

Another thing I didn't mention is she has pushed me to go back to school and I just applied to FIU. Haven't heard back yet (just applied like 2 days ago) but the plan is to do it all online and start really slow since I haven't been to school in 10+ years. They didn't have an elementary ed online program so I figured I'd go for an English degree. The thought being I can take a test to be a teacher once I have the degree. I got my AA when I first moved to FL so at least I'm not starting from scratch. Hah, there have been a bunch of people pushing me to do this for years now, kinda admirable she was able to actually get me to do it.

What's the name of the company you work for again? I'll call HR.

No wonder why you are applying for an English degree? I had to fix some of your grammar. :p

Good deal! Take your time and just keep plugging away at it.
