Sorry I'm posting 3 in a row but I skimmed over this sentence the first time I read it.
What are we talking about? Omega? Patek Philippe? You all know me, if I ever break the 2k mark for a watch (which I know isn't a huge amount when we're talking real high end but it's huge to me and really should be huge to any normal person despite how much you're worth) it will be a Grand Seiko or a MRG line Casio.
But it would be fun to try on some fancy watches.
Rolex, Tudor, Breitling, Hublot, IWC, Oris, Cartier, Tag Heuer, Bell & Ross, Corum. Stuff like that.
And anyone who tells you "we're not beach people" are either being aggressive dicks or something is wrong with them. Who doesn't like sitting in a chair in the sand, getting some sun and watching the ocean?
Many people. A lot of people don't just sit out in the sun. Probably half the people I know are like that. They either burn, or they find it boring. People like mountains, and fishing, and boating, and lakes. They like to kayak and canoe and raft down rivers.
Now I've done all of the above, and I still enjoy those things in the summer (along with sitting on a beach). But in the winter, I might ski, but I prefer going someplace warm and sitting on a nice beach. So as far as convincing me that beaches are nice, you're preaching to the choir. But that's not everyone's cup of tea.
If you ever went on a cruise, you'd see that as soon as the ship gets going, about two-thirds of the travelers go inside somewhere. The older people mostly don't sit outside. They're on the cruise for the destinations, the gambling, the food, and the shows. You know what they say about different strokes.
