The American Automobile Association says the nationwide average price of a gallon of unleaded is $3.66. California always has the highjest gas prices in the United States and they've been steadily rising for the past eight weeks. I just got gas at the Arco in Glendale. It was $5.35 a gallon! Yikes! The price at the nearby Chevron is $5.60. Double yikes!
