I had a CRT until 2016. The flat screens before then I saw at everybody's houses before then looked like shit.I never wanted to voluntarily part with money to make my TV picture worse.
My mom just bought a 2025 Kia Seltos. My wife and I were helping her get accustomed to her first touchscreen in the car. But the 3 of us commented how all 3 of us went for cars that still have knobs and buttons, because we hate going through four sub-menus to turn something on/off or adjust it. In my car, changing the bass/treble requires that. GIMME A FRICKIN KNOB. You knob (take off, eh).I'm reminded of how much those controls suck.
This is what I pictured at firstthe seats have a rotary dial to turn on
When I drive my son's 2005 Corolla, I feel the same way. I actually look at his dashboard briefly while backing up, like a dodobrain. When I visit my dad and drive his car, I really miss the camera.
BTW there are still a LOT of red 200x Corollas on the road!! Each time I see one, I yell out "red rolla!"
