Maybe we need a thread for that.

I am not sure why you dislike the Kenny Rogers song. The others were time and place etched in my mind. I think those are the ones you guys sometimes label as nostalgia.

I'll admit it's a well-crafted song that's very popular. But all I can think of is my mom playing this over and over on the stereo in our guest room. "Reunited" has similar attributes, and is probably big as a wedding song. I guess they could be considered "nostalgia", along with the Bee Gees disco song.

But "You Take my Breath Away" is one of my gun-in-mouth songs. Maybe we need a thread for that.
