The Star Wars theme was a hit for both John Williams and Domenico "Meco" Monardo in 1977 – but did you know there was also a disco version that year? It's by the French disco group The Bang Bang Robot. It was released in France (as Le Guerre Des Etoiles) as a 12-inch single and was cut from 14:40 to 3:20 for release as a 45. The 45 was also released in Germany, Turkey and Italy – but not in the United States.

Mister Hectic, if you like Cat Scratch Fever, you will probably like Cat Scratch Fever – A Tribute To Ted Nugent, a 2001 album that features 11 remakes of Ted Nugent songs. Among the artists: Jani Lane of Warrant, Kelly Hansen of Foreigner, Taime Downe of Faster Pussycat, Phil Lewis of L.A. Guns and Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee. Here is Cat Scratch Fever by Union lead singer/guitarist John Corabi:

Cat probably should have had a “Meh” after it.
I got pretty tired of it after the 1980’s. It’s not an instant channel changer, but if I know something better is on a different channel……

That, and Ted is annoying as hell.

It's not a channel changer per se but if I hear it I do sometimes see what else is on.
