Veronica, better known as Ronnie Spector, was married to producer Phil Spector from 1968 to 1974. Among the Ronettes' 1960s hits are Be My Baby, Baby I Love You, Walking In The Rain, Do I Love You and The Best Part Of Breakin' Up.

I will last second, second this one. I liked The Ronettes especially the Christmas songs "Frosty the Snowman" and "Sleigh Ride". I like holiday tunes

In the 2013 movie Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, set in 1980, Ron Burgundy (played by Will Ferrell), is a news anchor for GNN, Global News Network. It's the first 24-hour cable news network. The movie was inspired by Ted Turner and the 1980 launch of CNN. Turner died today.
