Concerts you have attended?

Billy Idol is coming in concert not too far from where I'm at in September. Would have to see what ticket prices are like, but very tempting otherwise.

He still puts on a really good show. Both Billy and Steve still sound great. I keep hoping that they come back around here.
I think we've seen them 4 times.

I just got tickets to see Extreme and Living Color in August.
I'm really looking forward to it. It's at a small club that only holds 1,000 people.

I saw him a few years ago just down the street ( never saw him in the 80's somehow ) & I agree. Really fun show. He's gonna be in the same venue soon, but it already sold out. I was thinking about going, but the asking price is waaaaaaaaaaaay too much now.

Yep! Though it's rare I go to arena/stadium-sized venues (unless I'm asked to perform at one!)

If they played a smaller venue, I'd pay out the ass to see that. Otherwise seeing them once in 2000 (from 7 miles away) is good enough for me. Same with Peter Gabriel and Depeche Mode.

There was an concert, I decided that I didn't want to attend and was able to sell my tickets the Offspring w/Simple Plan and Sum 41.

In couple of weeks, looking forward seeing Matchbox Twenty. They're haven't released a new album over a decade.

The Cure played in New Orleans last night and they sounded excellent. It was the first leg of the tour, so we really weren’t sure what songs they’d play going into it.
They ended up playing 29 songs, which included some new songs, but even those sounded great also.

The Cure sounds like a good show! Reeves is playing one of his Reverends in the clips in the article.

I'm getting weary of giant arena/stadium shows, If I can get seats that are close enough I can see the performers faces without spending a mortgage payment, I'm OK with it. I'm not paying a few hundred bucks to watch the band on a jumbo-tron.

I tried for tickets to Aerosmith with The Black Crowes. But shutout again by dynamic pricing. Not paying $300/seat (although they were floor level).

I saw them probably like a decade ago, when Kid Rock opened up for them. I'm a fan of them, but I doubt I will see them again.

My comment on their retirement announcement

Ehhhh this is no permanent vacation. Ozzy, Motley, they've all said good bye but then got back in the saddle again. Same old song and dance, my friend. When they announce another tour a few years later it'll be no surprize...

If they tour after the "farewell" tour, they can forget about me going. That's where I draw the line. Dream on, dudes.

I have a new update on couple of concerts. I was originally going to see Disturbed w/Breaking Benjamin and Jinjer. I decided to sell my tickets and they got bought. Since this one singer isn't coming to Phoenix. I surprised my partner and we will be seeing Ed Sheeran in Vegas this September.
