Damn! It's Hot Out!!!

Among the cities that had a record-setting high temperature in July 2026: Miles City, Montana, 115°; Phoenix, 113°; Billings, Montana, 111°; Salt Lake City, 109°; Sheridan, Wyoming, 109°; New York City, 100°.

Holy shit. It is hot here. Check out what my weather station is reading right now:

I wanted to be angry at you guys but honestly I'm just jealous.

Check this out. it's raining right now and in only 8 or 9 hours the temperature has dropped 25°.

But I'm sure it'll be back up to painfully hot tomorrow because that's how it is here until at best late October.

It was very nice here on Thursday. We went to the first high school football game of the year and our Corn Fest carnival.
It was very rainy on Friday. It started pouring really hard when I was watering the flowers at the park and had to leave my buckets at the curb. I should have been more patient for the rain and known better.
Then Saturday, it rebounded very nice to be an incredible day, I went to the Farmers Market to listen to music, went to the State Park then went biking. Today looks like it will be nice too

We've got a good stretch of low 80's for the next week or so.
The German American Festival is coming up next weekend, and it looks like it's stacking up to be a good weekend for it. :drink4:

Enjoy Hectic! Today may have been the best day of the year here. It was 55 this morning. It felt like a mid-September day. Along with getting a bite to eat at the Corn Fest, I was able to get some good yard work in. And although it is more fun to bike and go to events on a day like today, it is nice to work around the house without overheating. Days like today, you do not feel like being inside the house. We are getting closer to my favorite month around here: September
At one time I ranked my favorite seasons on this post. If I ranked the months, it would be:
September, June, October, May, April, July, August, March, November, February, December, January. But they all have nice moments. At least lately.

We were pretty hot and humid until yesterday. Yesterday afternoon a cold front went through. Toronto was it with 3 successive massive thunderstorms. There was hail in parts and massive flooding. The rain was coming down so hard at one point you could not even see the lightning although based upon the volume of the thunder it was close. The storms destroyed the horrible new stadium they build north of the city called Rogers Stadium (not to be confused with the Rogers Centre -- the downtown stadium which hosts the Blue Jays). Some news articles below:

It seems so far like September feels like August weather and the end of August felt like September weather. Humid the past few days but tonight felt good for the high school football game. They serve pizza slices from the best pizza place in town plus football. East played tonight and next Friday we will watch West play
