Fast Food Chains To Conquer America

It been quite a while, since the burger thread has had a post. Lately now, I tried couple of new fast food burger joints that recently opened up in Phoenix, like and here my reviews on them:

The Habit Burger Grill - I been there twice and I'm 50/50 right now on them right now. Because first time the food tasted great, so I went to another location and the burger was overcooked. I'm going to try them one more time soon.

Steak N' Shake - Just tried them today and the steakburgers tasted like crap, Freddy's makes better steakburgers. I doubt I will try them again.

Shake Shack - Haven't gone yet, just opened less then two weeks ago. I will try them out within the month.

Over the weekend, I finally tried Shake Shack and the steakburger was alright it tasted better then Steak N' Shake. I'm not a fan of the al carte menu, it ridiculous that a small soda cost $2.80, plus it the same size of a water cup. If you want to pay $3.55 for a large soda, where I can get a bigger cup at McD's and Wendy's. I doubt I may try them again.

after we took tom to get cremated i then took my father to a long, 3 hour, doctors appointment. on the way back we stopped at 5 guys for lunch. i really like that place. my dad just got a basic burger with lettuce and tomato. i go deeper with cheese, lettuce, tomato, green peppers, a1 and mayo. we split a small fries. i know the quality of 5 guys fries is up for debate but i like them. it was a nice family lunch all for $14.

also, as per usual, i took way too many of the free peanuts to take home with me. i dumped 10 scoops into our bag and now will have peanuts to snack on for a week or so.

Johnson's Corner in Johnstown, Colorado has good ones. Real good cinnamon rolls, too.
