The Harris poll did there best places and I just named my favorite places. Our opinions will never match and worst places is my best places.

You don't like Kohl's? I have bought some of my clothes from there. When they have a good sale, if not I shop at JCP.
I'm still confused. Are you restricting your favorites to fast food chains, or are you saying that of all the local gourmet restaurants you can choose from, you'd rather go to these places?

I've shopped at Kohls, more often in the past than now. I got sick of their fake-permanent "sales", the Croft and Barrow everything, and the sameness of what they carry. We go to TJ Maxx or Marshalls more often, because they're always getting in more leftovers from the nicer stores. There are other discounters too, like The Rack (Nordstrom), which is awesome for shoes and sneakers. But mostly, I shop local.

I never shopped at TJ Maxx, Marshalls or The Rack, I mainly stick to Kohl's, JCP. For cheap clothes, I go to Wal-Mart and Target. For nicer stuff Dillards and Macy's and my shoes come from Famous Footwear. I know there plenty of local shops here, but I hardly step a foot in one.

I should mention that the Kittery Outlets are right where I get off the highway to go home. It's about a dozen shopping malls of Bass, Calvin Klein, Polo, Gap, Orvis, Sperry, Timberland, and hundreds more. And there's an LL Bean outlet close by. They all have regular clearances, returns, and other discounts.

I have an Tanger Outlet shopping center not far from me and they have similar stores as you described. The only clothing store there I like is Van Heusen. But again, I can find the same clothes and prices at Kohl’s and JCP.

One day I’ll check out other retailers.

Plain t-shirts, not printed or w/ logos.
I have the black one and a set of white tees for under dress shirts (that I bought once and won't need again), but all the rest of the T-shirts I wear under other things are the ones with logos I got at vacation and gift spots.

Getting back on-topic, you're saying that your favorite restaurants are all fast-food chains? I almost never do those. It's like having 100 local breweries around, and drinking Bud. I don't see the point, unless your priorities are all cost and convenience. You must have like a thousand Mexican restaurants and steakhouses by you, no?

This is what I posted earlier, the Harris Poll named everyday best places that is located all over the country. I named some of my favorite best places, which are located all over the country. Not everyone is fast food, I have some local restaurants that is alright. But I wouldn't say they are the best and they are just local not all over the country. So they wouldn't make the list and that would be a totally different topic "Best Local Places".

This is my opinion for all the best places.

Mexican - Rubios
Coffee - Dutch Bros.
Chicken - Popeyes
Pizza - Mod Pizza
Sandwich - Jersey Mikes
Ice Cream - Rainbow Sherbert

I do agree on these.

Department Store - Kohl’s Department Stores
Smartphone - Apple iPhone Smartphones
Tablet Computer - Apple iPad Tablets
Video Streaming Subscription - Netflix

These should be fixed.
Computer Manufacturer - Apple Computers
Hardware & Home Store - Lowe's

Phoenix does have like thousand Mexican restaurants. AZ Central which is an online newspaper, did an article about Mexican restaurants.

Why does Phoenix have so many -berto's restaurants?

Most of them are not related and they are all over the valley.

I've been called worse?

We've spent the last 30 years in NH on the eastern Mass/NH border, where everyone comes up for tax-free shopping. The main shopping strip through town had the state liquor store, a Market Basket, a Walmart/Home Depot/Staples, a half-dozen dollar stores, 8 tire stores, and a dozen used car dealers.

Where I live now on the southern Maine coast, the town on the border with NH has those outlet malls and other chains, but my town doesn't allow them. We have one Rite Aid (everyone needs their pills), and the more upscale Hannaford's local supermarket. The parking lot looks like Range Rover, Range Rover, BMW, BMW, BMW, Subaru, truck, Mercedes, Subaru, truck, Toyota, Tesla, truck, Honda. It's my kind of place.

My favourite restaurant is called Markham Station. It is a diner type restaurant open 24 hours a day. They make a great club sandwich and great breakfast items.

There's a lot to be said for cost and convenience - especially convenience.
Don't get me wrong; I'm not a foodie, or a yuppie, or even
Scotch is boojee AF.
We only go out to dinner about once a week, and maybe have one lunch out. When we do, it's mostly a cheap-ish brewpub type place, or a fish-n-chips joint. Mrs. Scotch is a fantastic cook, so when we go out, it's primarily just to get a break, and enjoy some ambiance. We'll go to a nicer restaurant (usually seafood) about once a month.

We're not big spenders who restaurant-hop. We don't get upscale drinks, or expensive bottles of wine. I get a beer, she has coffee. I don't buy expensive clothes (but she does, on occasion). I bought a few nice watches many years ago. The house has taken over our budget.

I'm scared to Google Boojee at work....
Then Boogle Goojee!

Seriously, "boojee" (or "boujee", "bougie", etc.) means wealthy, but with an emphasis on casual acceptance of that wealth and an almost oblivious projection of middle or upper class expectations on others. For instance, being surprised to see a grown man who isn't on drugs sacking groceries at a Trader Joe's would a "boojee" reaction.

Boojee AF.
