I've had a few weird deer moments. I don't think they do a lot of thinking, just reacting with no foresight.

Once a deer was crossing the street so I stopped. Once it was fully across and almost back into the trees, I started driving forward slowly. It suddenly jumped up, did a 270 degree spin, ran toward the side of my car, stopped, turned 90 degrees, kicked my car door, then ran in front of my car, then into the woods.

The owner of this strip mall in York put up one of those giant "Thank You, President Trump" signs, and then he caught this kid on surveillance video taking it down. So he posted the video on the community Facebook page.

And this is why I'll never mess around with any yard sign.

Some of them will be Not Guilty.

In the early 1990s the courts in Canada overturned the topless law up here. It was in the spring. For that late spring and summer and early fall it was glorious. Lots of girls without tops. Then winter came and everybody covered up and next spring the tops remained covered. A disappointment. Damn winter momentum killer.

In my teens and early 20's I liked having Eagles and Phish stuff on my car. As an adult I would never put anything on my car. I have no need to possibly upset some crazy person by showing off the shit I like on my car. When I see people with a Dallas star on their car I automatically hate them and will be more aggressive driving around them. Believe it or not some people are crazier than I and I have no need to get my car vandalized due to someone hating my Birds.

I'm not a big enough fan of any sport or music act to want to plaster my car (or whatever) with all their merchandise. I like both, but neither is my identity. The older you get the more you prioritize what's important and what isn't. I used to have Jerseys of my favorite players in the past (Larry Walker, Ken Griffey Jr.) but got rid of those in my late 20s. Haven't really felt the need to get anymore since. I'll still wear a hat or a jacket with a logo, had an old Starter jacket with the Denver Broncos, not sure where that went, But I'm a little too old to be wearing someone else's jersey.

I've gotten to the point where I dislike anyone's signs, flags, or bumper stickers; just because of the possibility they might be shoving their ideology at everyone. It's OK if you like Schnauzers, or you like Woodstock VT; but any other expression of opinion or philosophy or alliance is unwelcome, even if I agree with it. Because it not only shows a lack of self-control (I MUST let people know how I feel), but it really violates my personal space.

People make these bullshit arguments that the signs are on their own personal property, therefore no one has the right to mess with them. I'd agree if the signs were facing toward themselves (away from the road), but they never are. The whole idea is for them to be pointed toward public areas, where the public is helpless to avoid them. Same with bumper stickers; while they're attached to personal vehicles, they're intended to be shoved in the faces of the public, and there's no way to "opt-out".

As far as sports bumper stickers, I always found it funny that after I moved up here, I noticed that 2 out of 3 cars had Patriots or Red Sox bumper stickers. And I always thought "Wow! You mean you live in Massachusetts, and you like the Patriots? How bold of you to proclaim it." It's kind-of like saying "I like air".
