Minor Ailments

I have a wart or a growth on the underside of my right hand.

So IDK how to describe it....its on the underside by the pointer finger on that fleshy part where psychics read your love lines.

Anyway it bothers me and I've been picking at it but I have to pick it with my left hand and I'm normal so using my left hand as the dominate hand for picking is annoying.

I want to take a knife or a nail clipper to it but I can imagine in my head how Pam would say that's a bad idea and I should got a dermatologist or something cause I pay for health insurance for a reason...I don't want to deal with that type of intelligent girl logic.

Also I took a nail clipper to a skin tab on the back of my right knee. I talked about it here. I bled like a stuck pig. I posted pics and they were gross. I used 2 face towels to stop it and I had throw them away after. They had no chance of recovery in the laundry.

But it's really annoying and I keep wanting to pick at it until I solve this problem.

Ever heard of Compound W?

As much as I enjoy jerking off jokes and I will never be opposed to National Lampoon clips....the Canadian was the only one of you with an actual good suggestion.

I'm thinking now it may be a callus from lifting the doors at work....or from chronic masturbation, either one.

When I was a kid I had a growth on my foot, my mom took me to the doctor and I got this weird band aid thing with a cream on it. The band aid was clear in the middle. Anyway after like a week of wearing it I was able to rip the wart out. It was really gross and had like roots and shit.

That was like 30 years ago.

I have those leather or felt gloves, I ordered like 5 pair from Grainger, but I only ever wear them if I have to pick up gross shit or I think I'll cut myself with bare hands. I guess I should wear them more...but similar to condoms, gloving up is never preferred.

If it is a calous, it will eventually just be a part of your hand.

But I am not a doctor nor do I play one on TV. If you want to know what it is you should see a real one.

You asked.

Also I apparently deleted my post Abt clipping it...didn't mean to do that.

Anyway. If you're a sissy girl like hectic mentioned, turn away now. But I know you all are pining for these pics.

Here's how I stopped the bleeding.

And here's my sexy stump...goodbye skin tag (thanks channel for the correction).

I'm sure you all remember when I did this.

Well turns out a year and a half later it grows back. So I clipped it off again just now. But this time I was prepared because I remembered how much it bled the last time so I prepared a tourniquet. So far all the bleeding has been contained. I haven't even seen any blood yet.

Enjoy the pic of my sexy leg everyone.

Also this time I was sober when I did it so I was worried that it was going to hurt more but it only hurt for like a split second. It wasn't that bad at all really.

I'm realizing that I may not have told the recent story of my tooth. Two days before leaving for Costa Rica, I'm chewing one of these...

which I think are made by the ADA to boost revenue. And a crown in the back of my mouth comes out. I got an emergency appointment with my dentist on the day before flying. They smoothed it out a bit, but basically said it would have to come out after I get back. They gave me penicillin for my trip, in case there was pain, but fortunately, it didn't bother me.

Well, today I'm getting the remaining tooth extracted, and a bone graft. Ironically, I had a root canal on this tooth about 2 years ago. Now there's a waste of time and money. I also have my colonoscopy coming up in 2 weeks. The reason I mention this, is that both procedures require me to go off my blood thinner medication, several days prior.

The next step for the tooth will be an implant, and then a new crown. Mrs. Scotch is a step ahead of me; she had to have an extraction also, and now she has the implant. We are both going to the same oral surgeon. I think we're paying for his next vacation.

You should have done them on the same day to minimize you being off the blood thinners and to condense all your agony to a short time period. If you are going to suffer anyways, what is a little bit more?

My cardiologist was trying to arrange for my tooth extraction to be a couple of days before the colonoscopy, so that the time off the blood thinner would overlap. But it didn't fit the oral surgeon's schedule. And it couldn't be on the same day (or within a day), because the prep kind-of limits my ability to travel.

Also, I had already rescheduled the colonoscopy once, so I didn't want to push it out again, just for the slim change we could have them overlap.

A little DP action, eh?
The colonoscopy is on tax day, which seems appropriate.
