Beyond Inc., the parent company of Overstock, Zulily and Bed Bath & Beyond, declared in a filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission that this "reduction in force" will "create a more variable, leverageable cost structure and create a more streamlined organization to align to its asset-light business that supports an affinity and data monetization model with a strong technology focus." Uh, what?

Look, I think Greg Olsen is way better than Brady and it sucks he was downgraded to the second team call guys but saying spaz is not a bad thing. Everyone needs to calm the fuck down and stop spazing about about it.

All right, I'm not taking any position or making any stand or whatever. I just want to say to me this shit is fun. It's like a year and a half building up to tonight. And now I just really enjoy switching from News channel to News channel and watching the map turn red and blue as the results come in. I think it's really cool how we go like county by county. Like I don't care about a random county in Minnesota any other night of the year but tonight I don't know. It's just fun to me dude. I enjoy this.

I can pretty much guarantee you're the only one having fun.

I think he was referring to the excitement of watching the results come in not the result. I too love election nights (Canadian or American). The process is fun until it is clear your guy loses.
Well I do find CNN's John King quite amazing. I joke that he sleeps for like 3 months to prepare for election night, and then he drinks a barrel of coffee before going on the air. He'll be on live for like 48 hours straight, telling the backstory about every county in every state in the country. He simultaneously looks at the number of votes coming in, where they're coming from, and what's yet to come, and how the percentages compare to 2 or 3 past elections. He can look at all the battleground scenarios and predict all the possible results, like a chess master. He can bounce from one state to another and recall the demographics of each county. And then when the election is over, he goes back into hibernation.

I didn't know him by name but I was impressed by his board and how the touch controls worked the way he wanted them too. He could flip back to 2020 or 2016 and even by time of day. It was quite impressive.

Yes, that giant touch-screen map is impressive when he's in control. He mentioned several times that this is the 10th time he's gone through this.

The sleeping for 3-months line made me lol.

I like that pipsqueak looking dude on MSNBC who is always at the touch screen TV, circling states and counties and everything and telling you about all the statistics. But he kind of fails his arms around in really exaggerated motions. And he's always like halfway bent over because I think he feels that makes him seem more serious about what he's doing or something I don't know. It looks kind of silly. I get a kick out of him. And he knows his shit.

Around the end of every NFL season he shows up on football night in America to go over all the possible playoff scenarios and what team needs to win and lose for the rankings to be settled. And it's exactly the same gimmick just football instead of politics. Dude has his sleeves a quarter of the way rolled up hunched halfway over circling shit on a TV about like if the Eagles beat the Redskins and the Giants tie the cowboys then the Eagles will get the number one seed or you know shit like that.
