I believe that facts and the truth are absolute; whether it's politics, science, or history. This idea that a person has to cowtow to both sides, like Cuomo or Bill Maher, in order to seem legit, is no different than any other form of spin. I can figure things out for myself.

I don't think he's cowtowing at all. I think the shit he says on his YouTube show is his actual belief and that's what is so refreshing to me. Usually you build an audience by appealing to their widely held beliefs. He is willing to turn off large swaths of his audience to discuss his true opinion.
I think and hope the new way to build an audience is to break the norm like that. That is exactly why I like him so much and it's why when he goes on and on about something I disagree with I am much more willing to hear him out and if not change my opinion on the matter at least consider it more deeply than I would have with someone on FOX or MSNBC.
