Sappy songs by good bands

I think my qualifies for the "sappy songs by good bands" theme. Kiss has made a number of great hard rockin' songs. While "Beth" would fit the theme closer since it's by Kiss not just one member, "Beth" is a good song. Gene's remake up there is redonkulously sucky!

You are assuming sappy songs are bad? You mentioned "Beth" as not a sappy song because it is good. I think it is a sappy song but there are both good and bad sappy songs. "Endless Love" is a perfect example of a really bad sappy song.

Are there songs you hate from bands you love? Songs so sappy, you change the radio station immediately; songs you wish weren't associated with that band?

This is the original concept of the thread. That's why when I heard Gene's "When You Wish", I came right here with a hot ticket in hand.
