Say hello to Glitter Turtle my friends:
When I was at that motel I told you guys about I went to the Cracker Barrel that's right next door. I haven't been to one of those in forever. They all have like a big store full of tchotchkes when you open the door, before you get to the dining room. That's where I first met Glitter Turtle.
Like a giant idiot I didn't buy it right on the spot and then I felt terrible about not having Glitter Turtle for like days afterwards and I kept bitching about it to Pam to the point where she went got it for me and dropped it off to me at work and now my life is complete and I am a happy man.
It runs on three AA batteries so I just bought 10 rechargeable ones. They were only like $14 with the charging case on Amazon and now Glitter Turtle will run constantly when I am home.
It was $39 so not exactly cheap but also it still qualifies as a small purchase that makes me very happy.
Glitter Turtle makes life worth living.

I hate Cracker Barrel because of that fucking gift shop.
Give me a damned place to wait that isn't in the way of some fool getting excited about cheap Chinese made retro candy necklaces or cutesy plywood kitchen signs. Let me eat my mediocre fried chicken in peace.

You're just jealous you don't have Glitter Turtle. That's perfectly understandable.
Yeah I totally get that people getting excited about cheap Chinese retro shit is super annoying. Hahahahah.

You're problem is you probably brought the wife into the store with you. Should have had her wait in the car until your table was ready.
Pam has the same problem but should have me wait in the car. Then she should attach horse blinders to me until we are seated.
Thank gawd she's just a browser. She's only picked up one or two things there.
