Yea, once they have a year or 2 to build a team around him I think Cincy will have a lot of potential.
When shit is going this bad you gotta look at the big 4.
1. The owner. He's not going anywhere and I like him too so no real issue there.
2. The GM. Howie Roseman is looking more and more like 2017 was a fluke. If you look at his past draft picks he appears he has no idea what he's doing. He also has a habit of signing old guys.
3. The coach. I still love Doug. I think he is not blameless but the least to blame out of the group.
4. The QB. Carson has sucked in all 3 games.
I would fire Howie first and get some fresh blood in there to build our next team.

Carson should be benched but that's not going to happen. If anyone else played so poorly they'd be benched. But if Hurts comes in and plays well that's the end of Carson. And then who could we trade him to? Pretty much no one. Maybe the Colts? They have an old QB and clear Eagles ties with Frank Reich but besides that it would be a huge loss of value for the Eagles.

If you bench Carson, you have to fire the GM. It's his franchise QB.
Of the 4 I listed a couple days ago I think our GM Howie should go first. However in reality I think he will likely (and sadly) outlive both Carson and Doug.
