Too bad there will be no Canadians to see it. Interesting to see if it gets booed. That has pretty much stopped up here. But some people, like me, still remain seated during the Star Spangled Banner.Look what we just added for our upcoming summer concert here in York Beach. This will fix everything!

Our director is a brilliant guy, and I'm sure there's a backstory to it, but I don't understand why they gave us this now, for our final Maine summer concert. We played Old Orchard Beach last month, and odds are there were several (if not many) Canadians there. There might be a few in York, but likely not any more than that.Too bad there will be no Canadians to see it. Interesting to see if it gets booed. That has pretty much stopped up here. It's an abbreviated form of "Oh Canada". Kind of like "can't", or "box-o'-rocks", or "Rockin' in the Free World", or "O'er the land of the free". Ever seen any of those? Why does the sheet music say "O'Canada"? O Canada is Canadian, not Irish.

You seem to think that I created, published, and printed this arrangement; and am therefore responsible for its content. I am not."Can't" and "o'er" are contractions, not abbreviations. The anthem has never been called Oh Canada – and "O'Canada" is just plain wrong. Maybe you're thinking of the movie.
I suggest you take it up with the company that distributes Bill Moffit music arrangements. Or, you can just move on. Your choice.
It just makes me tired.I suggest a third option.....The two of you keep bickering because that will be way more entertaining for all the rest of us.
