After years of getting recall notices, I finally brought my car in to get the Takata airbag replaced, and they gave me a brand new BMW X3 for a loaner. It had 25 miles on it. I felt an obligation to take a dash pic for Koop. BTW, it doesn't have any real gauges, all the indicator needles are part of a display screen. Everything about this SUV is just "too much": the size, the tech, the controls, the over-the-top level of equipment. But I'm not (and may never be) in the market for a vehicle anyway.

At least you didn't buy a blurry watch.....
I can't tell you how pathetic I felt, taking that picture. But what's really pathetic is that the BMW forum members post these everyday. It's one thing to be so narcissistic, you have to gather all your possessions into one photo. But to use the interior of your BMW - on a BMW forum - as a backdrop for a completely unnatural watch pic, is just moronic.

What do you picture when you think of the guy responsible of 1/3 of all Wikipedia?

Pretty much dead on, right?

Haha! That's great. Here's his avatar (so to speak)

That was an interesting interview. He spends more than 3 hours a day editing Wiki, yet he doesn't make any money from it. He really is the perfect guy for this.
