Duck boats are bad news. Seems like every few years there is some incident with one of them. But then again, the 2 disasters I'm thinking of were both captain error so the problem likely lies less with the boats themselves and more with the people put in charge of them.

$25 an hour seems good but I don't know about NYC prices besides always hearing that it's super expensive so I wasn't against her from the start. The fun parts come when we learn her parents and grand parents pay for tons of her shit and she buys all sorts of expensive stuff that isn't needed.
I really hope my inheritance post from last week didn't come off this bad.
Some of the best bits:
-12:22 p.m. — Whole group gets hungry, so we go to a local health restaurant for some food. I get a goat cheese and avocado wrap. $23
-6:15 p.m. — My friend’s chef prepares vegan tacos, chicken tacos, and a veggie salad for all of us. Perfect pre-drinking meal. After dinner, we all get dressed up for a party tonight.
2:30 p.m. — Candied walnuts. $8.75

She's making about $52k / year, $13,200 from parents, $660 from babysitting, plus school, insurance, phone, Netflix, Amazon, Spotify. No idea what all of that stuff adds up to. Throw in the $25,200 her parents pay for her rent, and damn. Say that it all adds up to $95,000.
New York is stupid expensive, but she's doing really well for a 21 year old.
