Oh wow. My account was all jacked up. Apparently there was some other radio tied in to my account that I have no idea how it got in there. It was tied to the same exact car still being which suggests the radio was swapped. I called in last year when the car radio hadn't been working for a while and I thought I got that situation all squared away when the car radio started working again.
When I called in for the Bluetooth speaker/charger promotion, somehow it got put on the old/other radio. The radio definitely being used still said 1/1/2027 or whatever.
I just got on their chat and talked to an agent who was finally able to make things right, although I mistakenly(?) had them cancel the account.
So...I guess for about five minutes, I lost my SiriusXM subscription I had since September 2005. Now watch my "official" record be "subscriber since 2025 or 2026".
I also lost all my app settings, progress lost in whatever Howard shows I was listening to, etc etc.
Here's the fun part:
I have a $43.54 credit on the account. My monthly bill is $4.30 per month until 4/1/2027.
Basically it's free until January or whatever and I'm still seemingly in line for the charger.
