When I play games on my phone, like Words with Friends (and all the games within it), or the mobile Jeopardy!, or any of the others, I have to put up with these low-grade ads made by these nobody influencers. The ads go along with the points or coins you earn (that's why the games are free). And there's an idiotic trend where these influencer people use some sort of tiny, stand-alone or lapel mic, but they hold it gingerly between their fingers.
So, first question: WTF is going on? Why does it seem like suddenly, everyone forgot how voices are recorded? Whatever is recording the video is 100% capable of recording the audio too.
But what if they don't like the microphone on their cell phone or Go Pro or whatever? Here's an idea: ever heard of a headset? Even those Bluetooth earpieces have mics in them. And if you really want to be professional - like the news people - you'll want a lapel mic. But somehow, they took the lapel mic, and decided not to clip it on, but rather hold it between their fingers like morons.
To me, this is the next step towards the society depicted in the movie "Idiocracy" (we already have many of the other things from the movie).
