I'm listening to Dave Lambert and Little Lupe.
A) It's painful how funny this bit is...or something like that. Both of those.
B) At one point, Howard clearly mentioned to Dave "you forgot your lines" after Howard was cuing Dave as to what to say.

hugh grant = pass.
The entire show for me today is a pass. Talking about Wendy shitting for 2 hours, and Howard's impression of having sex with his mother, along with Hugh Grant, just don't do it for me.

The show started with Howard making more ignorant comments about music; "nobody does rock anymore", and "nobody performs live anymore". Then he admits he knows nothing about music today (failing to consider that he's actually had many of today's musicians on his own show), and says he had to ask Ed Sheeran to recommend a musical act to him. Here's a wild concept - turn on SiriusXM, they have music channels like Alt Nation, Octane, Spectrum and Coffeehouse that play new music all the time. Do you think he's heard of SiriusXM?

to me that sounds like the perfect show! i am way more excited to listen to wendy as a guest then almost any a-list celeb.

yea, its hard to rationalize these comments. i think hes mostly talking about what is on am/fm but thats nuts cause who really listens to regular radio anymore as their go to source for music?

I was just at the second of two sold-out Pearl Jam shows at Fenway Park. They played non-stop (ok, two encore breaks) for over three hours.

OK, first of all, fuck you :D - I planned and planned to get tickets to that, then when the public sale started, I learned that "Ten Club" member tickets went on sale 3 days earlier.

Second, 2 of my nephews went, because we all live in the Boston area, so you must too. That's cool.

Yeah, for a lot of listeners, it is. I think the only universally disliked show topics have been AGT and pet adoptions.

Did they go over the arrest with Hugh Grant and why he decided to keep the booking on "The Tonight Show," because I'm interested in both of those topics. That's the appearance that gave Jay the ratings lead over Letterman in perpetuity.

I skipped 90% of the interview, but I happened to catch Howard asking about the Leno appearance, and both acknowledged that it boosted Jay's ratings. Hugh said Jay never gave him any thanks for that.

Jack White, Julian Casablancas (the Strokes), and Pat Carney (Black Keys) do programming for SXM, so there are times when they are literally down the hall. It's just pathetic.

(Well maybe they contribute remotely, but you get my point?)

Elizabeth Hurley was very, VERY HOT then (maybe now too). His cheating on her with a common street hooker is confounding. My feeble mind tries to rationalize it and can only come up with: Elizabeth Hurley isn't good in bed.

It's not fair to her, but what other rational explanation is there?

You know stuff like this happens constantly to celebrities, right? Gwen Stefani, Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift have all been cheated on. I'm sure plenty of celebrities are hanging with hookers here and there; they just don't get caught. Being a celebrity and traveling the world for work makes these people very different from us. You can't use the same standards.
