The struggle is real.
I posted this on Facebook:
"Look at their join date and posting history before buying.
If you have zero mutual friends with a seller, it could be a scam. If you several mutual friends, maybe you've even seen them, even if you don't recognize their name or FB profile pic."
I wanted to add something like:
Also, check for broken English. I realize it's not a be-all, end-all, but I've seen so many scams with broken English that it could be a small red flag.
I had no way to make that not sound like something Sal would say.
