Kinda like giving his staff crap for making big announcements on other shows, but then last summer break he broke the news his father died to a local newspaper (or magazine or whatever it was).

Or when JD announced his engagement.... "ON FUCKIN TWITTER!"

But with his dad, someone probably would have leaked it anyway. However, had it been 2006 and Howard was all fired up (back when they'd go to the WUS), then he probably would have found a way to cut in live for a Howard 100 News special.

Hell, there was one time (I think in 2008) the WUS went past noon because Howard had called in. The technicians were scrambling to override the Howard 100 News that day.

Heard this on the way into work this morning. Howard acknowledged his hypocrisy but at the same time made a good point that trying to keep it a secret for almost two months over the summer would've been "dark" and weird.

Just imagine if KC was still around with Richard and Sal.

(This thought coming from a thought train. A video game for PS2 had an Uncle Kraker song it...as in the guy who did Drift Away, aka the "KC's Gay" song.)

1:51...this coming from a guy who ended up practically inside Sal's pouch beside him at the toilet.

I'm playing a game called Pricetitution. It's sort of like Cards Against Humanity, but the concept is "how little money would it take for you to _______."

One of the questions was about using the middle urinal in a set of three when the other two are available.

The Howard fan in me would have wondered if it's a big wang...because we know Howard would do a lot more if he had a huge weiner.

OH H.....EYE OH
The KISS interview was great. He got them to open up about their childhood.

I don’t listen to the show but Howard is a great interviewer.

I plan on listening to Reggie Jackson interview soon.

Jim Rome is on TV right in front of me.
He refers to his fans as "clones" and has his own on-air lingo.

Should I be surprised Howard never went after him?

Part of the reason why Howard stopped having girls on the show is because...

Savanna from Scores is 55.

Now, he could have cam girls on, but I can't blame him for not wanting to look at naked people the ages of his daughters.

Still, I can't believe Savanna Samson is friggin 55.

I'm listening to a Wing Bowl bit from 2017 and Richard and Howard are talking about all the poop and vomit in the bathroom.

Wolfie said he's seen piles of poop higher than the top of the toilet.

I believe it was a few months ago when Richard mentioned the "quadruple poople."

Here's a text I just got. Apparently podcasts are huge (yeah, I know they are), but every time I hear them, it doesn't sound like real voices and everyone is over-enunciating and trying too hard to be clear.

Didn't Howard once say that every idiot with a microphone can start a podcast?

You won't know unless you try them. I had zero interest in podcasts until 2020 when I got sick of having the TV on I was very pleasantly surprised at how great & addictive the content is on many podcasts. And celebs are lining up to do them bc they're easy, interesting, they feel intimate bc you get to know the podcasters & guests a little deeper than talk show interviews. No matter what the topic you get humor.
I'm listening to a podcast based on CSI LV. Two of the minor characters are actually scientists who were hired to keep the show authentic. Their podcast will sometimes have a member of the cast, but mostly it's other forensics, scientist and coroner's telling fascinating true stories of cases they've worked IRL. I look forward to this podcast the minute I've finished the current one. I have a few I can recommend that would probably appeal to you. And all are free!

I listened to a couple dozen of comedienne Kathleen Madigan's "pubcasts". I liked them but not enough to keep going, she's got over 100 now.

I listened to one of Kirstie Alley's podcasts. It was ok but not good enough to listen to a second one.

I listened to a podcast by Jeff Davis (frequent guest Whose Line Is It Anyway) and it was pretty good but not good enough ... you get the idea.

So I'm not listening to any podcasts currently

Remember when Howard was going off on that social media star who didn't want to be at school?

Here's the next round:

The comments suggest they're off to OnlyFans.

Also: Maybe it's the 90s in me, but it seems somehow fake (or scripted or something) that they're going together...like they both decided to be done at the same time. Yeah...that's not fishy at all.

Back to the OnlyFans thing for a moment. There's a ton of sites like that...which seems surprising, given the fact that a bunch of progressives want to shut down anything they see demeaning to women. Look at Hooter's, Tilted Kilt and the dime-a-dozen titty bars that used to be in every city. A bunch of that stuff is being run out of town. Part of that is because hardcore stuff is online, true, but when you have progressives (including progressive women under the age of 30 or so) making comments like "gross" on Instagram, yeah.

...maybe Howard was ahead of his time by getting rid of the crackwhores and strippers.

Howard *could* have the latest OnlyFans models on the show for some Butt Bongo, a Sybian ride, maybe panting Sal's pouch or Richard's package. Tell me that wouldn't be creepy, though.

Howard is on a one-week vacation this month. He'll be back on Monday the 24th.

Until then, we get a show at 1pm ET on Howard 101 with Jon Lieberman called "Date Me" in which various show personalities try to get dates. On Monday's show, we heard dating stories from a drag queen named Divine from 1986, Fred the Elephant Boy in 2007 and the Kielbasa Queen in 1998. The 1998 segment included an audio clip from the Private Parts movie.

Let's see what unfolds tomorrow.

Note: I assume the "Date Me" thing is all week.

“Divine”, the fifth track of Korn’s debut self-titled album, was one of the earliest songs the band recorded at the legendary Buck Owens studio in Bakersfield. Suicidal Tendencies (and later Metallica) bassist Robert Trujillo was involved in writing the song. There is also speculation that the song title refers to the 300-pound transvestite actor Divine, since frontman Jonathan Davis was a fan of his work.

Metal Hammer: Which five guests would you invite to dinner at your house (dead or alive), and why?

Jon (Korn): I'd have Hanson (laughs). That takes care of three. I'd fuckin' serve 'em cyanide cakes or something! I'd invite Divine. I'm a big fan of Divine and his movies 'cos they're so fuckin' horrible! He did Pink Flamingos and shit like that. That's a pretty sick movie. And I'd have Elvis too.
