Any fans of the WNBA?
The league is booming by all metrics.... TV viewership, league attendance, revenue, expansion teams on the horizon.

I've been watching a lot of games the last few seasons. Spurred on by Caitlin Clark, although I don't really root for or against her.

I've adopted the Golden State Valkyries as my team to root for.

If I had to guess:
Channel98 could root for the Los Angeles Sparks, but I'm guessing he doesn't because of the Lakers.
Wolf could root for the Phoenix Mercury, maybe he does? Or the NY Liberty since Houston lost their team, but will be getting a team again next season.
JHDK has no teams in Florida or in Philadephia. Philly getting a team in a few years.
IRBS has the Toronto Tempo, but probably not a fan.
Madison and Hectic, probably Chicago or Indiana as the closest team.
Scotch and Sadchild, Connecticut as the closest team.

I have hated the Lakers since 1996 when ball hog Kobe Bryant joined the team and for 20 seasons pushed, shoved and tripped opposing players and wagged his finger at them every time he made a basket. I continued to hate the Lakers while ball hog LeBron James was on the team. I will always hate the Lakers. I am a Clippers fan and a Sparks fan. My favorite Sparks right now are Cameron Brink and Kelsey Plum.

I am cheering for the Tempo the same way I cheer for the Raptors. I check the score and say yay if they win. Not really a fan of basketball. It is interesting how they turned CocaCola Coliseum into a basketball court. It is the building where the Marlies play as well as the Sceptres (PWHL hockey team).

I was watching the Indiana games until Caitlin Clark got injured. Since her return I haven't picked up yet.
It's been a matter of my schedule and other events to watch and where the games can be found.
But yes Aaron, the team I'm most interested in is Indiana

NY Liberty Fan? :cautious:

I was in Houston when the Comets were born and became 4x dynasty WNBA champions. Now that I live in Phoenix, I'm not really a fan of most of the local teams. I might root for the Mercury if they're doing well, but I'll always be a Comets fan. I'm excited that the Comets are expected to return next year, with the Connecticut franchise reportedly being sold and relocated to Houston.

I used to follow the WNBA quite a bit. I remember when there were teams in Utah, Charlotte, Cleveland, San Antonio, and other cities.

Living in Phoenix, I hear about the Mercury, but it honestly feels like I hear more about the Las Vegas Aces than the Mercury.
