Wolf said he was in Hawaii for a week. Everybody knows Hawaii is a super romantic tropical getaway. We should start a poll thread with voting options being 1 through 7 and the topic being how many times did Wolf get laid in Hawaii.

I'll set the over-under at 6.5.

I'd probably bet the over.

Just finished the 60's, now I believe my film history will really take off now. The 70's had some great era of some films. Like Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcist, Carrie, The Omen, Dawn of The Damn, etc. Yes it also had Star Wars, Rocky, Jaws, Willie Wonka, Superman, Godfather and tons of other films. Below are my latest films stats.

If I had to pick one decade for overall best films, the 70s is definitely my choice as #1. Look forward to seeing your list grow as you add a bunch more movies.

I didn't post the 70s, I flew through it last night and I'm halfway through the 80's now, which is taking longer now. This is the era, I really started watching movies. I finally broke 1000 movies now with Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg breaking through the top spots. I looked on wiki and see a history of Christopher Lee. So he might be holding #1 for a while?

Finally, down with the 80s. I'm probably going through about 5 pages per decade now. There are some I recall seeing or who knows what I missed in the past. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. Your 8000+ film record Aaron won't be broken.

ChatGPT says that the typical American will likely watch between 1,500 and 3,000 movies in a lifetime.
That's sounds about right. I'm currently halfway through the 90s about 1700 films in.

I somewhat notice between the 3 decades of the 70s, 80s and 90s. Besides, the film history graph almost gets bigger each year. The 70s had some great films, the 80s were better and the 90s had a lot of great hits. To me it feels like, I notice my horror, thrillers have gone down, and dumbass comedy took over. It feels like the 90s are the worst decade so far with certain types of films.

Today, my style of films has completely changed. I still love horror and comedy. Now I'm into more indie and Oscar martial films. With 3 more decades left, averaging like 70 films per year. Plus the 1700, I already seen. I'm predicting I'll probably go over 3000+ films.

I am seeing the new Fantastic Four tonight.

I'm probably well below 1000. If it weren't for my wife, I'd probably be under 500.

Do I count the ones I started watching and went "oh, this is total shit" and shut it off about 20 minutes in?

I'm still in the 90s, finishing up in 1997 soon. Already passed up 2000  films and feels like I'm burning myself out. It was flying through the years and now it’s like averaging about 1/2 hour per year. Once I'm done with the 90s, I'm taking a break. To many damn films, I remember.

I'm officially done with the 90s. Looks like my love of horror is changing now. I'm going to take a break form this for rest of the weekend. Then work on rest of 2000s, 10s and 20s.

In another thread I mentioned that I set up a Letterboxd account and starting adding movies to it. Half of them that I clicked "I've seen this" on were only because she wanted to see it.
That happens a lot.

I can't begin to count the number of those Damned Hallmark Christmas movies I've seen.
I mean, it's only one movie, but it has 73 different titles.
