Ok, I don't know the proper way to say this; but this doesn't sound like the Wolf I know giving a review.I finally got around to watching Hereditary, and wow… I didn’t realize what I’d been missing (or what kind of mental damage I was signing up for). The film was really good — slow at first, but it builds this suffocating tension that just gets under your skin. By the time things hit full chaos, it’s disturbing, eerie, and straight-up messed up in the best way. Toni Collette absolutely kills it — that performance is pure nightmare fuel. The movie isn’t just scary; it’s emotionally draining and weirdly tragic. There’s something deeply unsettling about the family dynamic that makes it hit harder than your average horror flick. Overall, Hereditary is one of those films that sticks with you — disturbing, fucked up, and completely unforgettable.
Care to elaborate? Is Mrs. Hectic talking a little too much about Elba?A House of Dynamite can go fuck itself.
Normally, I like Idris. I think that he's taken on a number of roles that seem beneath him or were maybe just for the paycheck though.I think just about anything that stars Idris Elba as a leading role is currently bad. He was alright as Heimdall in Thor. To me it all started when I saw him in The Dark Tower, The Mountain Between Us, whatever in between and Apple TV show Hijack. I guess, I try and avoid anything that stars him in it.
It was kinda bonkers with some of the action. We probably weren't supposed to, but we had a good number of laugh out loud moments with it.Just watched Weapons on HBO Max. The first hour drags a bit while it tries to set up everyone’s storyline, but it finally picks up in the second half and gets pretty interesting. Not sure what all the hype was about though — it’s fine, just not mind-blowing. The cast (Julia Garner, Josh Brolin, and Benedict Wong) definitely helps keep it watchable.
Not really. I don't mind if movies have some beefcake for the Mrs. After all, most movies cater to guys when it comes to sexy stuff and T&A.Care to elaborate? Is Mrs. Hectic talking a little too much about Elba?
Do you slow down to look at car crashes when you drive by?So....don't add it to my Watchlist?

We won't be watching 'till tomorrow night. But on a personal level, I've lost all interest during this season. That scene a few weeks ago, where the woman investigator is holding an impromptu therapy session for a few of the guys, was the "jump the shark" moment for me. And simultaneously, Meryl Streep is showing-off her ability to do a great Eastern European accent, but for no reason I can determine.Just watched the finale of Only Murders In The Building. I don't want to give anything away. My theory who was season 5 murderer was wrong and I like the finale ending.![]()
I see your point and personally I thought this season was the worst one yet.We won't be watching 'till tomorrow night. But on a personal level, I've lost all interest during this season. In the theatre? The police came and had to stop the film to look for a lost little girl which made it even more bizarre. She was found.
Yes during the movie. First two women came around and were asking us and the others: if we seen a little girl come in. I assumed they were the guardians the girl came into the theater with. Of course it's dark when the movie is showing. Then about 7 or 8 minutes later, two police officers came with flashlights and said they had to pause the film to look for the girl that disappeared. I asked if she was watching one of the other movies and the officer said yes. They asked everyone to keep an eye out and then they left and started the film back. Just before the movie ended I heard someone say the girl was found. So that was good newsIn the theatre?
That is good news but my question was she actually in the theatre with you. Looks like it was elsewhere.Yes during the movie. She was not attending our show (movie). My guess would be she was seeing one of the kid's movies and wandered off. Maybe she was with a group and she slipped away from her parents or went to the restroom alone and got lost. If I ever hear anymore, I will post. That is good news but my question was she actually in the theatre with you. Looks like it was elsewhere.
