Ok, now that I've read the article, here's my thoughts. Their earnings, profit, and income are way up. And they have like 160M subscribers, so losing 4M is not particularly significant.Disney Loses 4M Direct-to-Consumer Streaming Subscribers During Q2
Missing Wall Street estimates for subscriber growth by more than 5M subscribers
Disney ended the quarter with 157.8 million subscribers across its direct-to-consumer streaming subscription services – Disney+, Disney+ Hotstar, ESPN+ and Hulu. The most significant loss came from Disney+ Hotstar which lost 4.6 million subscribers, offset by gains at ESPN+ and Hulu. Variety reports that Wall Street analysts estimated Disney would finish the quarter with 163.17 million subscribers, missing their expectations by 5.37 million subscribers.
I would have thought Disney would be punishing residents of FL by adding a "we don't like your governor" surcharge not give them cheaper rates.I haven't been to Disney in over 2 years. I bet I could figure out when if I looked back in this thread. That changes tomorrow. So I'm getting a new (used) car in May and I want to have a couple final road trips in the RAV. And where else am I going to go?
So I get off work at 6 tomorrow and will hop right in the car. I should hopefully get there a little after 9 and Magic Kingdom closes at 11. I was going to wait to go to a park until Thurs but I bought my pass online and they couldn't prove I was an FL resident so I'll need to get the ticket at the gate. Now I'm doing this cause I want to ride Guardians for the first time on Thurs but to do so you need a virtual queue and you cant get that without a valid ticket, the queue opens at 7am before the parks open so I need to get my ticket tomorrow night to have at 7 on Thurs.
Also the annual pass was about the same price as it was 2 years ago and there are fewer blackout dates. I got the cheapest FL resident one that I always get, the one only good on weekdays. Anyway, with tax and everything it was $467. I'll have gotten my monies worth after 4 visits at that price.
It'll be nice to be back at Disney, it's been way too long.

How could they not prove you are from FL? Does your CC not have a FL address on it?
