....so that's what you call it.......

Thanks, you too.

Let me know next time you're rolling through town. It's hard to believe, but opening day for the Mud Hens is less than 8 weeks away.

Mark my words, we're going into a mini ice age. Global cooling is real:(
This has been one of the coldest winters in many years in KC. It rarely gets below zero here but has happened several times this year. We haven't hit record snowfall yet, but we're on pace. Of course last year it snowed in May (global cooling) hope the winter doesn't hold on that long this year.

Eff this effin winter right in the A!

I'm so sick of shoveling and cleaning off cars. Oh and this bullshiz high temperature of 20 most days can suck it, too.

Although, on the bright side, I did construct a mini-luge track in my backyard for mini-hyson.

Couldn't Dave said it better.

Well, everything but the luge track. My yard is both the highest and the lowest point in north west Ohio with a total change in elevation of 3.7".

I see all the idiots in the south east are still trying to drive on ice. They better invest in sand and salt trucks. In the coming years the climate down there will resemble Detroit, with long, cold, snowy winters.

I love watching the news seeing Southerners trying to drive through the mildest of winter weather.

Hilarious.

Y'all can talk about southerners all you want. I see fourbys & AWD cars & SUV's in medians & ditches in every state, every winter!

Because people are dumb and they don't understand that physics beats 4wd when it comes to inertia, ice, and stopping. Sure, the 4wd will help you get out of the drift after you slide into it.

It surely is a cold winter. It only got up to 50 or so today. But tomorrow I think it is supposed to get to 72.

What do you do at Christmas with the kids (baguettes)? Throw ice cubes at each other from the freezer?

Seasons are good. Snow is beautiful.

We have snow once every 10 or 15 years. It falls, we have a snowball fight, then it's gone the next day. It leaves a wonderful memory but no slush.

The difference is that when a passenger car crashes, it's usually no big deal and cleared up quickly.

But when a professional driver crashes a rig it's ALWAYS a catastrophe that shuts down my highway for hours on end....especially when they're hauling something that hazardous.

I do my best to stay off the road when the weather is bad. I can't say the same for other. Consumer demand drives freight. When store shelves become bare, someone has to drive the freight to market.

When that 1996 FAX machine you ordered has to be here today, that LTL hauler is going to drive thru anything to deliver it, then go back home. They don't care about others on the road. Just stay out of their way.

No one should be out when the weather gets icy. Lots of northern states shutdown the interstates when that happens. Eastern states should try doing that, too
