Celebrity death thread 2022

Von Dohlen played Harold Smith in four episodes of Twin Peaks, 1990. He also appeared in multiple episodes of Grand and The Pretender and in more than 30 movies including Choose, Teeth, Tollbooth, Frontline, Beautiful Loser, Tender Mercies, Dracula's Widow, Electric Dreams and Home Alone 3.

Second. I do remember him from Home Alone 3. (My son got the DVD collection of a 4 Home Alone movies for Christmas one year. I got to see them all).

Jones played ranch hand Andy Belden in 25 episodes of The Virginian, 1963-71, and appeared in multiple episodes of Gunsmoke, Cheyenne, Rawhide, Laramie, Lassie, The Big Valley and Wagon Train. He appeared in more than 60 movies and TV movies including Casino, Bulletproof, Flaming Star, Hang 'Em High, The Wild Bunch, Lone Wolf McQuade and Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid.

Second. I remember him from a few of those films.

I really wish that when they post the death article of an old actor that they show some pictures of them while they were in the films they list. I don't always recognize the aged face but might remember the younger version of themselves.

The Delfonics formed in 1965 in Philadelphia and had 15 top-40 R&B hits, 1968-74. La La Means I Love You reached #4 on the Hot 100 and #2 on the R&B chart in April 1968. Among their other hits: Didn't I, Break Your Promise, Ready Or Not Here I Come, Trying To Make A Fool Of Me and Walk Right Up To The Sun.

This one kinda sucks because I was a big fan of his when he was at Colorado. Even followed his career with the Steelers when he teamed up with Kordell Stewart (also from CU).

Second. I have all the Leave It To Beaver episodes on DVD. Dow played Wally Cleaver in all 234 episodes of that series and all 201 episodes of The New Leave It To Beaver (1984-89). He also played Chet in 153 episodes of the 1965-66 teen soap opera Never Too Young. Here is the premiere episode. The picture quality isn't very good – but then, neither was the show.
