Celebrity death thread 2022

I agree but getting to the point where self harm or suicide thoughts creep in is a whole different monster. Normal people get depressed and have may have those thoughts, but they are fleeting. It's a way more serious mental condition if a person gets to the point where they act on them.

And I'm very pro suicide. I think euthanasia should be completely legal and I go a step further where I think that if you don't have a history of mental problems and you want to kill yourself it shouldn't be frowned upon. People should be allowed to do whatever they want with their own lives so long as it doesn't physically hut other...and that includes ending your life.
A person with clinical depression is not a clinical "normal" person.

Yea but it's harder to diagnose mental issues. Unless you're like down syndrome or autistic where it can be completely obvious, it's still s bit of an educated guess on the doctor's side to say you're clinically depressed or whatever other mental condition.

Like with AIDS or cancer you can take a blood test or whatever and have definitive proof you have that condition. Opinion plays no part.

Spinal Tap was Chris Guest right? I never actually saw that one all the way through but Waiting for Guffman and Best in Show are top notch. The mockumentary is kinda beaten to death now but he started and perfected it.
Other band members included Michael McKean and Harry Shearer.

I gotta watch this movie finally.
A former band member learned I hadn't watched it and insisted I did. Having been in a few bands and having seen several members come and go, Spinal Tap is right on the money with sharing what it's like to be in a band (a little exaggerated for emphasis).

Watching Tap was the same way I felt watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding - having been raised in a Greek family (mother's side). Except I was more like the parents of other family, living in the middle of the whole thing scratching my head and rolling my eyes.
