I will second this one by association. I saw the Edmond O' Brien movie "D.O.A". Remington Steele referenced the movie in the Season 1 episode "Steele Belted"
to help solve the missing bill of sale case. I decided to rent the movie from Hollywood Video or one of those video rental places to watch it.

The opening theme to "Days of Our Lives" is pretty memorable too
