Or they just wanted to capture the raw guitar energy from the song since the announcer is voicing over where there are lyrics.
This is one of those bad singer Burger King commercials, that they've been running for years now. They assumed that annoying is good?

Wow, that's really all over the place. And it ends with George Takei doing his "Oh My" and laugh, made famous on Howard Stern. But here, it actually seems like a call-back to Vincent Price at the end of Thriller. I think they just want to seem full of nostalgia.

I always thought BK was at around a medium to high level of suck in terms of fast food. Now whenever I go there again, on some road trip or whatever, my first thought is gonna be something like, "this place better be at least as good as 5 Guys cause I remember that ad Scotch posted". And that is bound to disappoint.
This is a million times better than the We Suck ad. Before I even hit play I was hearing in my head "At BK have it your way".
They ran it so often it's in my head the same way McDonald's "Food, Folks and Fun" will haunt me until the day I die. And I think that was from the 80's.

During my first 2 years of high school, we had Saturday morning rehearsal on the field for marching band. We'd go through the whole routine with the songs and all the marching and formations. This was to prep for the football game in the afternoon. If it was an away game, we'd then get loaded on buses following rehearsal. But for home games, we had a couple of hours to kill; so we'd walk to McDonald's. That was fun, because half the band was there, and we kind-of took over. Also, it was an entire daytime away from our parents.

When my son was little he liked playing in the playland either with his friends or alone (making new ones). I used to have supper, get unlimited free refils of my coke and do sudukus so I also had fun. My wife also enjoyed some alone time so she had fun too.
It seemed to be a good place to pick up women if you were interested in that sort of thing. I think it was a place where divorced parents were transferring the kids for the weekend. I was hit on by several women over the years. I guess my wife not being there gave them the opening.

Several years ago, I went to a Burger King here in Grand Rapids and the service was horrid. I waited 45 minutes for a BK Big Fish.
Then, not a long time ago, the place closed. Then, it reopened, new signs and all.
So, did the service improve? Nope! My mother and I went there two weeks ago and the place was super slow. Even worse, the guy taking our order - a very old black man who looked like he was 80 - ALMOST gave our meal to another couple in that restaurant. Plus, the ketchup dispenser was empty.
Tom Curtis still has a lot of work to do.
They use weird terms for the line in the red light district waiting rooms in Michigan.
BK is my least favorite burger joint. I haven't eaten there in over 2 decades, so maybe they're better? I've had no desire to find out.
Oh wow, that's kinda rare.
Of the main ones that I determined are: Mc'Ds, Wendy's and BK, I like the QP the best then Wendy's and BK are probably tied.
