Concerts you have attended?

I could have sworn I posted in this thread long ago. Anyway, here are the concerts I've seen and can remember:

John Denver w Starland Vocal Band
The Beach Boys
William Shatner reading poetry over whale sex noises (in the 1970s, before he was considered ironic or self mocking, just sad)
Bad Company
The Cars
KISS (in the 1970s, when they weren't sad)
DEVO
Kraftwerk
King Crimson
Laurie Anderson
Frank Zappa
Phil Collins
B-52s
The Residents
Two Nice Girls
Butthole Surfers
Modest Mouse
Three Doors Down (or Third Eye Blind or Blink 182 or Matchbox 20 - I know there was a number in the name)

Not quite. I just perused this whole thread, and you forgot to include this
I'm going to take Meme Girl to see Fall Out Boy at the Houston Rodeo in March.
I've already started learning all the lyrics so I can sing them loudly while I dance to all of their songs. I think I'll dress like a cowboy. Or a cow.

I have Phil Collins, Starland Vocal Band and Numeric 90s Band on the list. You can't shame me with Fall Out Boy.

Oh yeah, I saw Adrian Belew's bar band The Bears. And Frank Black. I had tickets to see Nirvana on their last tour but I got sick before the show.

I didn't catch SVB on your list, I just saw John Denver and moved on.

As a kid, my dad took us to see Rodney Dangerfield, and the opener was Melissa Manchester. Also, I've gone to countless "revue" type shows with friends, where they have a dozen acts, like KC (from the Sunshine Band), Tavares, Robbie Dupree, Ambrosia, and shit like that. And I've been to benefit concerts and seen 1 or 2 songs by Billy Joel, John Cafferty, John Butcher, Barry Goudreau (Boston), Foghat, etc. So I don't think I would count those, but I am working on my own list.

I went with my wife to Donnie & Marie in August to celebrate our wedding anniversary. D&M are one of her favourites. I guess this should be added to my list. Next concert is Steely Dan in October (no word yet of it being cancelled but it is my understanding the guy who died has not been playing with the band for some time due to his illness so expect the show will go on).

Any major dude will tell you the guy who didn't die (Donald Fagen) is sick.
