It's actually fascinating to watch the thing run, it cycles the water temp based on outside temp and thermostat setting.
The kitchen installation is almost complete, the cooktop will be installed by the heating crew.

Thanks. I think I posted a while back about the fireplace. It was supposed to be gas on one side, with a wood stove sitting on a hearth on the other. They decided the clearance wouldn't meet code. We debated options, and everyone argued against burning wood. We ended up with the see-through, double-sided gas fireplace, which we're really happy with. That is gorgeous Scotch! The ceiling looks amazing, the kitchen modern and I get such a kick out of the fireplace. The brickwork around it came out looking so nice. It's wood burning right?
We have remotes for the fireplace and fans, plus the fireplace is on a thermostat. I'll soon have a pile of confusing remotes.Do you have a fireplace remote? I had one once and starting a fireplace with a remote control never got old.
We also have remotes for the mini-split heat pump units. We have remotes for the fireplace and fans, plus the fireplace is on a thermostat. I'll soon have a pile of confusing remotes.
