We topped out at just over 80 today.

I had a groundbreaking at a project this afternoon and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The owner gave me a shovel for the first dig too. I never get the chrome shovel. That was kinda fun.

Came home and grilled some perfect BBQ chicken on the grill.
Sounds like it was worth the weight gain.

I've been spending time here and in Melbourne lately (the past 2 weeks). It's weird...in Melbourne it's like 90's in the day and high 60's at night. Here in Tamarac it's high 80's in the day and mid 70's at night.

Humidity has been in the 70-75% range. For living in a swamp, that's really good.

Humans are causing the climate change that is killing humans. This study, published in the journal Nature Climate Change, concluded that "37.0% of warm-season heat-related deaths can be attributed to anthropogenic climate change and that increased mortality is evident on every continent."

Sunny and 90 today. I'm hoping to avoid yard work till next weekend if I can.
I'm supposed to go to my first Mud Hens game in over a year and a half on Tuesday. There's supposed to be a 50/50 chance or rain pretty much all week. I'm trying to stay optimistic.

Supposed to be a scorcher over the next week.

I decided to do the yard work anyway. Mowed the lawn and trimmed dome hedges. It was pretty hot out. It kinda sucked, but I'm glad it's done.
