School districts are banning books that they believe children should not be reading. Yeah, ban hundreds of books – but don't be surprised when those are the books the kids suddenly want to read. And they will find them somewhere.

Some schools have banned the Dr. Seuss book "Hop on Pop" because they say the title promotes violence. Really dumb.
Look what happened in 2014 in Toronto, eh? Somebody asked the Public Library to ban Hop On Pop and six other books, eh? The ignorant schmucks who want to ban books have probably never read any of them. They're just offended by the titles. On page 41 of Hop On Pop,, Pop tells his two kids "STOP. You must not hop on Pop." There ya go!

Dead skydiver found on front lawn of Florida home: "The worst I've seen"
A neighbor's surveillance video captured an SUV window's reflection, showing the skydiver descending before making a hard landing.

This coulda been a local news tidbit years ago but someone that worked for a skydive company around here (I forget if it's NH or Maine - think it's right on the border) committed suicide jumping out of a plane.

Ok I'm back. Looked it up. He was a skydive instructor and killed himself while diving with a student (the student survived). Weird weird story.
