Malwarebytes is a lot different since I last used it like 3 years ago before my Chromebook.

Anyway, I thought I'd have it scan my comp to see if it would say a PC I've had for under 24 hours had any issues. It made me trust it more when it came up with no issues found.

I paid $88 for MS365 office, and it comes with that stuff.

Oh fuck, is that the $99 a year thing? I'm pretty sure I'm paying for that too. I always get pissed off when i see the withdraw in my statement but I assumed it was something i needed since I still use hotmail and at some point they told me I was exceeding my storage limit and needed to get it.

I have paid for MS365 for at least 2 years now and have not used any of it besides the extra Hotmail storage.

HOLY SHIT THANKS DUDE!!!!!!

Since you reminded me of it early today I downloaded the full 365 suite and MS Defender. Which for no logical reason is included with 365 but a seperate download.

I will likely never use anything besides Word, Defender, Excel and possibly PowerPoint.....in that order. It's really cool to have them.

Do you use any of the other ones? If so, for what?

I used to go to Fry's Electronics until they all closed down. Now Phoenix has a Micro Center.

It's a bit of a start. I'm going to be building a new PC. I know computer part prices have gone through the roof, but I've been following certain items and they've started coming back down a bit. I might buy the motherboard, CPU, RAM, and storage this week.

This computer is going to be fairly powerful. Besides the usual Windows and office/document tasks, it will primarily be used for gaming and getting back into some of my old interests in 3D design and modeling. I plan to use it for creating models for 3D printing and other design projects.

It may also be used for video editing, rendering, and other creative workloads, so I'd like it to have enough performance to handle those tasks comfortably.

Over the past couple of days, I built my new PC. It had been nearly a decade since I last built one, so there were a few challenges along the way. I ran into some issues with cable management and getting familiar with the newer motherboard components, but a few YouTube tutorials helped me figure everything out.

At this point, I have pretty much everything installed, and the system is running smoothly. I'm still experimenting with the LED touchscreen on the case, and I'll try to post a video of it soon.

In the near future, I plan to replace the top radiator fans once the Lian Li TL Wireless fans are back in stock. I'm also thinking about adding some RGB lighting to the bottom of the case, installing another Strimer cable for the GPU, and adding an internal USB hub so I can connect all the additional accessories I mentioned.

A list of PC parts that I put into into the computer.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D

Operating System: Windows 11
Power Supply: Corsair HX1500i 1500W 80+ Platinum Fully Modular
