Holy fuck. The other day I'm heading out to my community band practice, and I start up the streaming SXM on my phone in the car. It's already night time, and I have about 2 seconds to get this going before I head out and lose my cell signal. Well, instead of playing music, it pops up a banner about the new library sorting feature. NOT NOW.
Meanwhile, my seizure-inducing bug is still there.
I'm on the "Now Playing" screen and press the down arrow or want to go to the "Now Playing" screen and yikes.

I just got it in the past day or two via an update. What's more is that I can actually change screens without needing to swipe to avoid the spastic behavior!
Here is SiriusXM's latest countdown. In fact, the subscriber count is way down.

So that's why I was able to get 3 years at 3 bucks a month. Shit...I shoulda held out for 5 years.
I just got an update to the SXM app. The swipey-tiles on the home screen seems smaller.
On my phone, I can see "Your Evening Picks" and the tops of those icons, but I can't see what channels they actually are.
They still have to bring back the "last five" for the music channels, IMO.

Shares of SiriusXM closed today at 2.66. Year to date, that is a drop of 2.83 (51.55%). Way to go, Jennifer!
Mine updated, but I didn’t really have a chance to pay attention to how it was acting.
The last month or so, the app had been locking up a lot. I hope they fix that.

We get far fewer updates of the app in Canada. I haven't really noticed much of a change at all. The website is different.
Previous App version is superior. In my opinion, Jennifer just did this to justify her CEO pay to make changes even if they are for the worse.
Yes. I use it in the car, and the following nice features are gone:
- It used to always start with the last channel I selected. Now it starts with promos for channels I have no interest in, and it occasionally goes to my channel after, or it doesn't go to anything, and requires me to go into the library.
- The library is NOT a substitute for favorites! The favorites list was exactly what I wanted while driving, and I could order it as I liked. Now the library is just a "recently played" list. Anything I haven't recently played isn't there. And yes, you can organize it, but then it changes anyway.
- There's an extra layer of crap between displaying the current channel, and selecting another. You first have to go back to the "home" screen.
- The controls are microscopic.
- Finding channels by category is more difficult than ever.
The improvements are:
- The album art doesn't disappear when it's playing inside another app (such as Google driving mode).
- It seems more consistently able to recover (start playing again) after interruption of cell service.

The little tiny play button is so stupid. At least 99% of the time, once you've picked your favorite channels, you don't want to click the station information.

There's a new Android update. The weird flashing background thingy doesn't seem to be as bad/obvious as it used to be.
