I didn't spend a lot of time looking into it. But from what I could tell, it seems like it's his Facebook page. It's a bunch of charity events in the Seattle area. Usually an imposter account is full of AI-generated activist shirt-wearing celebs, and political statements.
I am friends with a few musicians, and friends of musicians. So maybe there's a kind-of 3rd party common link. You know, like Kid Rock to Trump and Bill Maher.
Every few days I get long lists of "suggested friends" from Facebook: "People You May Know."Occasionally some of them are very well-known people. Among them: Alan Alda and Arnold Schwarzegger!
The plaintiff, identified only as K.G.M., claimed social media is "addictive" and causes mental health problems. Here's a news flash, K.G.M.: If you can open Facebook, Instagram, Snap and TikTok, you can also close them. It is not that difficult. Shares of Meta closed today at 594.89, a gain of 1.97 (0.33%).

Yeah, this seems like a bullshit lawsuit and verdict. So fast food, processed food, and excess sugar are fine, even though 75% of Americans are overweight. And anyone could just stop eating that stuff, right? But social media is the devil.
Doesn't every company want to tell people to stop using their product? I mean, that benefits them, right?

I think that's supposed to be a steel guitar, but I'm not sure how he plays it.
Regardless of what it has stuck to it, I honestly think that it's kind of a dumb instrument.
So the latest rabbit-hole my Facebook feed is going down is the Hot Ones show. I saw that 7-time F1 champ Lewis Hamilton appeared, so I looked it up. It was actually from 2024, but it was entertaining.
However, now my feed is 50% Hot Ones celebrity appearances. I watched Colin Jost, who thought it would be funny to replace the glass of milk with a glass of hot sauce. If I ever want to get past this, I'll have to skip over all of them for like a month. I must resist.

For several years, I only knew it from the satire of it on SNL. The first time I saw the real show, I was floored how close the satire was.
Hot Ones is produced by some food programming studio. It's a half-hour talk show, in which the host interviews the guest, while both of them are eating increasingly hot chicken wings. There are 10 levels in each episode. And it goes from hot to insane to nearly lethal.
The clip below is a compilation. It's just stupid nuttiness. But with a good guest, the host is actually a good interviewer; he does his research. And it can be really funny.
