Military Stuff

It cool watching Zelensky address congress right now.

Also I like how he is wearing his like wartime garb with everyone else all in suits and whatnot.

Apparently he is the first wartime leader to address congress since Churchill. That's pretty cool.

His speech was pretty powerful. I think stressing his people celebrating Christmas despite having no power and being bombed and all that was a good way to be relatable. Same with his comparisons to ww2.

His suit was at cleaners.
Cleaners went boom-ski.
Now is potatoes.
Please give rockets, and bowtie.

I think its pretty cool he showed up like that.
I've got mad respect for him.

I gave up watching movies for 20 minutes to watch his speech. That was great. I like the confidence he has in his people. Great speech.

Yesterday Trump Jr tweeted this

Zelensky is basically an ungrateful international welfare queen.

In response to this

Zelensky is apparently prepared to tell Congress that whatever the US has given Ukraine -- $45 billion in new aid now under consideration -- it is not enough.

Pretty rough analysis. And what does he have against Ukraine anyway? If his dad were in office, would he be saying the same thing?

If you see me around less often, this is why

US to send Patriot missile systems and tanks to Ukraine faster than originally planned

A Patriot Launcher is staged during 3rd Battalion, 2nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment's culminating field training exercise on Fort Sill, Okla., Oct. 25, 2019.

You driving trucks now?

I thought that you were on the design side?
I'm involved with test-related stuff, which is mostly supporting the design side. But over the years, our work has been deployed in the production facilities. So on occasion, when they have a sudden ramp-up in delivery demand, we're over there helping ship product. But not in this case (so far).

Cool. The testing side of manufacturing stuff is interesting. All of the subtle little things that go into products and the processes to make them is fascinating. Simple products are one thing, but what it takes for complex machines is amazing.

I'd like to know why a 21-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guard has access to top secret info. All I can say is it's a gov't agency, that probably explains it.
