It's all fun and games until you find a time machine to actually get there and you realize you have to murder a baby. Not sure I could do that. Give me like 19 y/o Hitler, I could pretty easily shoot teenage Hitler I think.

Kill his mom or dad. The Terminator had it right. Or your suggestion of waiting until hes an obnoxious teenager also works (T2).
 
Thinking about the Terminator, did the actions of the machines in the future lead to the creation of their enemy John Connor? If they hadn't sent the Terminator the resistance wouldn't have sent the guy to protect her and she would have not got pregnant with John. Resistance ended. The T2 plot was a better paradox.
