I am not a lawyer, nor do I play one on television – but if the ChatGPT voice was only "similar" to hers, I do not think Miss Scarlett has a case.

They had asked her to provide the voice, which she rejected, and then was asked to reconsider. And when the voice was released, the CEO referred to it as "her"; a reference to the movie about an AI girlfriend voiced by Johansson. So I think she certainly has a case.

That one is a bit of a stretch to me.
The Romantics said, sure....you can use a cover of our song in your game, and then decided that the cover sounds like their song after all.......
That's kinda stoopid. And didn't they listen to it first?

I think they haven't been booked to play enough local state fairs this year.
 
Then there was the whole "you made a likeness of me, which I approved, but then you let them sing songs I don't think I look good singing" lawsuit thing...

Adam Levine, frontman for the pop band Maroon 5, has sued Activision over the use of his likeness in its 2009 music game Band Hero, arguing that he did not agree to the way in which he is portrayed in the game.

These people are stoopid. Their ego’s tell them everyone wants to see them in a game. They have managers that tell them this is good exposure for you. They have lawyers negotiate it all.

According to the filing, these artists were also paid a higher fee to participate in the game than Levine was.

Oh wait…. someone else got more money than me?…..But people should love me more than them. Now I’m not happy. LAWSUIT!!!
 
I've been playing D&D with some old high school friends. One character in our party is controlled by AI, which is kinda cool. I don't know if ChatGPT changed or the dungeon master moved to a newer version of it but last night was out of control. The AI kept making moves for the rest of us. After it moved for itself, it would then say my character shot a crossbow for 17 damage and one of my friend's character used his sword and missed and then a creature hit him for 20 and he was incapacitated.... the DM had to type into the AI "Literally stop!" then "you are only controlling this one character, don't make moves for other people". That's when I said, "THIS is why we can't give AI access to the big red button. Humanity will be extinct in the blink of an eye."
