Let's continue this here.My cat just gets wet food. 1/2 can in evening, the other 1/2 in morning. I have a tupperware container which surrounds the open can and it goes in fridge overnight. The dog gets kibble as needed. She is a grazer. I do the cat feeding and dog feeding and the morning and evening walks. My son does the afternoon walk and keeps the communal water bowl full. The litter box gets cleaned once a week. After the morning walk, the dog gets a dentalife stick. After the evening she gets ad container of Caesars (soft food) -- actually the walmart generic equivalent. When I refill the dentalife sealed container, I also give the cat some treats.
When I have Popeyes, the dog and cat are right there since I usually let them have the skin. I know its likely not the best for them but 2.5 years ago the vet told me the dog has only 2 years to live so I am giving her her best life even if it's not the best for her. She loves it. I think my son will let her get a french fry or 2. Other than that just pet food.
The older dog (Penny) became food obsessed a number of years ago, but we limit scraps to keep her healthy. The 2 things she'll get is a piece of pizza crust, and the last bite of a bagel. The other one (Tali) is obsessed with Mrs. Scotch's nighttime popcorn.
Both dogs get a mini dog cookie after they go out. And they get some sort of chew when we leave them home.
