Mrs. Scotch and I were watching the evening news during dinner on the night of the eclipse. And every report they did featured people who - at some point - were looking up at the eclipse without the glasses on. The Mrs. kept saying "what the hell?". And finally, they cut to a scene where Lester Holt was shown watching the eclipse reaching totality. He had his glasses on, but when totality occurred and everyone started cheering, he took off his glasses and looked right at the corona! What the fuck?!Paging Mr. Darwin....
