Jalen Carter is our star DT. If we lose this game he will have the worst week in Philly sports media that I have ever witnessed. I'm sure of it.
And now they're saying there may be more punishment. Dear God. We play the Chiefs next week. We need him. It better just be a huge fine and not a suspension.

Oh yea. We looked like the 10-6 team I predicted tonight. But it was the first game of the season which is always going to be sloppy.
We'll see how KC plays against the Chargers tomorrow but even that won't tell us much since it's in a foreign land with (as all Eagles and Pack fans know) a shitty field.
But as of right now I wouldn't expect us to stand a chance against KC next week in KC.

Holy fucking fuck the end of that game. Will go in the books right alongside miracle in the meadowlands 1 and 2.
I was hoping they could block another one. Thought maybe they could since they already blocked one but rationally I thought it was very unlikely.
And then holy shit Jalen Carter blocked the first one and then Jordan Davis who is right next to him in the field goal D formation blocked the second one. Also, jakorian Bennett did a great job of knocking the holder out of the way so Jordan could pick up his own blocked ball and run it back for a touchdown. It's so glorious.
This is my exact reaction when it happened. I had my phone ready to hit record to be like sad or happy to send to Pam. And I did some stupid shit over the past couple days. So after my initial reaction I apologize so that's why I say that. Just FYI.

So I had the greatest time of my entire fucking life this past Sunday.
Section 134 Row D, Seat 7. So fourth row on the Philly sideline on the 22-yard line away from that stupid kid's toy pirate ship that's in that dumb stadium.
It's up there for the best 3 and 1/2 hours of my life. Even though it was sweltering and I'm all sunburnt now and we sucked in the second half....... There was nowhere better to be on Earth for those few hours.
It was the best time of my life.
Only thing that could have made it better is if Pam was there, but whatever she'll be there next time.
Also the bucs are so goddamn pathetic on either side of their jumbotrons they have these big ass screens that are kind of like vertical and they play videos of various players like begging the fans to cheer. It's so embarrassing.
In my section it was all Eagles fans. I know I was on the Eagles sideline so obviously that's where all of us would congregate but there was 1 singular Bucs fan directly to the right of me and he was with an Eagles fan. And there were two Bucs fans one row in front and slightly to the right of me. That was literally it. Everybody else in my area were Birds fans. It was awesome. We were all high-fiving each other and like sweaty hugging and shit. We all kind of became great friends in that 3.5 hours.
If Heaven exists, it is being at an away Birds game that is dominated by Birds fans and we win. After every score we all sang Fly Eagles Fly without any prompting. It was just instinctual for all of us.
I'm not exaggerating. This was my section. Point out a Bucs fan..... It's hard to do. It was all Birds.
Also I paid way too much for the seats but fourth row is so fucking cool. It's the best seat I'll ever have in my life. It was worth it and awesome......Check it out. This pic Is without any zoom on my phone. It doesn't do justice to what my eyes were actually seeing.

The heat didn't even matter. At some point you just accept the heat and it's like fuck..... You're at a Birds game. Who cares? This is the best thing ever.

Fucking Eagles suck. They beat teams by the skin of their teeth and that goes for every single team. Good teams, bad teams that is not sustainable. We suck. Fuck everything.

Whatever well, guess what? When the ball's in your fucking hands at the end of the game on the hail Mary, how about you hold on to it motherfucker.
Also the refs with that personal foul in the fourth quarter on Zach Baun was fucking shitty ass call that cost us the game.
And you know the thing that could make me feel a little bit better is if the stupid fucking Jets could do one goddamn good thing in their entire fucking franchise's history and beat Dallas today. But of course that's too much to ask.
