I like the word "dollop". I'm eating some enchiladas right now with a dollop of sour cream and the word amuses me.

I think it might have something to do with Dole Whip, the favorite iced treat for us Disney World freaks..."A dollop of Dole Whip" is a phrase I'm pretty sure I've heard before.

I hate the word "dollop." It comes from the Norwegian dolp ("lump") and originally referred to a clump of grass or sod. Since the early 1800s it has been used to describe a glob of a semisolid substance such as jam or whipped cream.

I began hating the word the first time I saw a ditzy woman in a television commercial singing a love song to her sour cream. "Do a dollop of Daisy" is the tagline and this dumb commercial seems to air three or four times an hour on several different channels. Why can't the woman just tell me why I should buy Daisy sour cream? Why does she have to sing about it? And why does Daisy run the same dumb commercial so many hundreds of times? Constantly annoying me is not the way to get me to buy the product. Thank you and good night.

It's all stuff you can find around the house.
A helium balloon, a couple of firecrackers, some hydrogen, and an Igloo cooler. Boom.
That's the last time the neighbor mows their lawn at 7am on a Saturday.

I don't like the word dollop either, and I can't imagine liking someone who used the word, unless they were a professional chef and were making me a meal.

I have a suggestion for the next DRC Madness – and please don't tell me what I can do with it. We could vote on the all-time worst product names, such as Chipsters, Psssssst, Plopp, Fiddle Faddle, Count Chocula, Gee Your Hair Smells Teriffic, I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and.......

Part of one CHiPs episode was filmed here in Glendale. Jon and Ponch were chasing a speeding motorcyclist eastbound on the Ventura Freeway through Glendale. The north-south Glendale Freeway was under construction at that time and a connecting ramp was only halfway finished. The biker drove up the ramp and had to quickly stop to avoid going over the edge and falling 30 feet. Of course he was promptly arrested.

In 139 episodes, neither Jon nor Ponch ever drew a gun. That's how I could tell they weren't really California Highway Patrol officers.:p
